ReEnvision Ag LLC is interested in solving problems in commercial agriculture in an effort to create a traceable, reliable, and sustainable food source with a reduced impact on the environment in a way that is commercially sustainable for family farms.

Where do you go to test a planter when the ground is frozen? We spent time in the horse arena at the North Iowa Events Center in Mason City, IA. Some great results with exact spacing, repeatable seed placement, excellent seed to soil contact and we pushed the speed to a new level! Thank you Cayden for flying the drone and to Andy and Hannah for help with photos and video.

We weren’t planting seeds in this test, but rather seeing how well the spikes stayed in the ground and poked consistent holes with a goal over 4 mph.
Reel speed test
The easiest way to plant a seed is to poke a hole, drop in the seed and cover it up. The least contact we can have with the soil is the same. So why do we drag the disc opener and make a seed trench the entire length of the field causing compaction in wet conditions and losing valuable moisture in dry conditions?
